Ceptor Corporation is a development-stage biopharmaceutical company focusing on therapeutic products for neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases. Our mission is to increase the quality and quantity of life of the people who suffer from these diseases. We are striving to accomplish this mission through a proprietary, receptor mediated drug-targeting platform and, to a large extent, the inhibition of the protease calpain, as well as the specific delivery of other therapeutic compounds. Ceptor is preparing to file an investigational new drug application (IND) and move its lead product, MYODUR, into phase I/II clinical trials for muscular dystrophy. We are also currently developing products for multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. The Company’s platform technology will provide several orphan drug candidates for efficient, internal development, according to our business model, as well as larger patient market product opportunities appropriate for corporate partnering.
